Colchester branch were flying high last week at the start of the Great United Response balloon race!

Massive thanks and credit go to Deana, Tara and the teams down there, in particular Gemma who co-ordinated the whole event!

In total the team raised 100 balloons by selling balloons to anyone and everyone they bumped into for £1.00 a go! Abberton Car Sales provided a hamper for the first prize to the balloon that got the furthest.

The team launched the balloons on 31st October and with one day to go, the farthest reported sighting was in France!

The team launched the balloons on 31st October and the winner at the end of the contest was Sargent John Butler of 13 Regiment, Colchester whose balloon was spotted in the Limoge region of France!
