Advantage attend Compass Jobs Fair!
Tara Fry, Operations Manager, Social Work, said "It was a fantastic day and to meet so many candidates with such broad knowledge of their field was amazing"
Advantage Healthcare has a wide variety of vacancies across the UK covering both qualified and unqualified work. With all the candidate details we collated on the day, we are working our way through the lists and passing the information on to the relevant branch, in turn, they will be in contact with them soon.
Neil Horwood, Recruitment Consultant, Social Work said "With the current demand for social workers in and around the London area, it was great to talk with such a diverse candidate base. I am looking forward to finding them suitable placements and working with them in the very near future"
In addition we were delighted to meet with candidates who are in their final year of qualifying or are experienced within a social care setting and looking for work within the care sector.
The Advantage Healthcare branches are able to offer support work across the UK to experienced staff. Additionally, social work students are able to carry out support work before passing their course, enabling them the gain experience within the social care field which will help them when qualified.
Carolyn Sword, Branch Manager, Croydon said "It was an interesting learning curve as to just how much both businesses can support each other in this sector, many of the student social workers that I had the pleasure in speaking to had excellent experience in working within support work roles through their 3 year placements. I am looking forward to placing these candidates in our support worker placements going forward"
Thank you to Melissa Gane and Sarah Cope for all efforts organising, setting up the stand and help in making the day such a great success.
