Learning Disabilities and Mental Health
Experienced, quality staff
With a database of experienced support workers, we provide a high quality service enabling service users to live independent, fulfilling lives, supported in their own homes and communities.
Our support workers are experienced in:
- Learning Disabilities.
- Autism
- Challenging Behaviours.
- Clients with acquired head and spinal injuries, leading to learning disabilities.
This allows us to provide short or long term assistance for service users with both mild and moderate disabilities either in their own homes, or in supported living units. For clients with more challenging or profound disabilities, we can also supply support workers with qualifications in control and restraint.
Working with a range of clients
Regularly supplying staff to Social Services, charities, non-statutory organisations, large and small private sector care homes and groups, or individuals in their own homes, our service can be tailored to suit the requirements of your service users.
Staff tailored to your needs
All our clients can be assured the staff we provide to them are carefully selected and matched to their needs. All our support workers are thoroughly competent in learning disabilities and can provide supportive and enabling care in the following areas:
- Citizenship and Social Inclusion
- Relationships and Sexuality
- Complex Behaviour
- Communication
- Person Centred Planning
- Equal Opportunities
- Adult protection
- Advocacy
- Continuity of care
We select the staff we place with your service users very carefully, not only based on their experience and skill match, but also their personality. When our clients are happy with our staff, where possible we will endeavour to ensure these are regular workers. As well as increasing service user confidence in the care they receive, continuity also means our staff can get to know the service user and provide truly tailored care.
